I thought I’d do a sweep round the house and how the rooms are right now as I am constantly shifting things about. Lets start with the bathroom. Coming in from the landing.
Little baskets bought in a market on holiday.
I love these Anthropologie towels.
Linen cupboard.
I’ve always loved the cracked paint on this door.
And my favourite bit is this little green door knob.
The door knob is great, I see what you mean about the cracked paint but I would never be so bold or adventurous to do the same. It looks amazing.
Thanks! Although I have to confess that I’m not sure I’d be that bold either. The door had been panelled over (probably to give it a more ‘modern’ look – the staircases had previously been boxed in too) and when the panels were removed this cracked paint was revealed. It was so lovely I left it.
Envious…. One day, my horrid 1980s bathroom will be stylish….
Bathroom envy right here! Incredibly beautiful and stylish, the baskets are fab but its the door and bath tub that’s a real winner for me. I wish I saw this post two months ago, I’ve just finished decorating my bathroom, yesterday my waterproof ottoman from http://www.decur.co.uk was delivered and it is now complete, but no where does it look as good as your bathroom.
I love the distressed door and the linen cupboard. Even though we have a plumber in the family the bathroom was one of the most difficult and time consuming rooms of the home to re model, you’ve done a fantastic job and I love your taste!
